Archbishop William E. Lori bestowed honors from His Holiness Pope Leo XIV upon 21 members of the laity, clergy and religious of the Archdiocese of Baltimore for their service to the Church and community during Solemn Lauds (Morning Prayer) at 10 a.m. Saturday, Sept. 12 at the Basilica of the National Shrine of the Assumption of the Blessed Virgin Mary in Baltimore. Among those honored was Sean L. Callahan, president and CEO of Catholic Relief Services, who was named a Knight of the Order of St. Gregory the Great.

Since 1984, Sister Mary Seton has served the poor through her vocation with the Missionaries of Charity.
While serving in the Archdiocese of Baltimore, Sister Seton has walked the streets to find the poorest and
most disenfranchised souls to console them, bring them closer to Christ and build relationships built on
trust.
