CRS Rice Bowl visits El Salvador where we meet young people like Edwin Carlos, who are learning technical skills that will help farmers restore the health of their land. Just as people need vitamins to grow and stay healthy, the land needs healthy ingredients too. Jesus reminds us that we are called to take care of the Earth because it is God’s gift to us.

CRS Rice Bowl is the Lenten program of Catholic Relief Services, the official international humanitarian agency of the Catholic community in the United States. Through CRS Rice Bowl, faith communities in every diocese throughout the United States put their faith into action through prayer, fasting and almsgiving.
