CRS is organizing Water Management Committees to help maintain community boreholes that provides clean water for thousands of people currently living in informal settlements.
Many people in the community have also received an electronic voucher from CRS, which they can also use to purchase food and household supplies in local markets.

Northeast Nigeria is amongst the world’s most neglected humanitarian crisis: it is presently estimated that 7 million individuals are in dire need of humanitarian assistance and that 2.2 million have been forced to flee their homes due to Boko Haram's violence.
