Students prepare for class in Tongo-Beo community in Ghana.

These students and their families have benefitted from the CRS project called Integrated Sanitation, Hygiene and Nutrition for Educaton, or I-SHINE, which aimed to improve sanitation, nutrition and health.

I-SHINE also supported the construction of school and household latrines to establish water, sanitation and hygiene-friendly environment.

The project was funded by the Leona M. and Harry B. Helmsley Charitable Trust.
